Jewellery by La Purple Penguin

Working with London Jewellery School has given me the opportunity to learn a wide range of jewellery techniques.

At the moment I am particularly interested in combining jewellery and textile techniques, for example yarn, embroidery and resin, leather and metal, and using traditional crocheting/knitting techniques with wire.

I also work with semi-precious stones, either with wire or traditional pearl knotting techniques, and create bling for your knitting, in the form of wire wrapped stitch markers and fun project bag tags.

I am currently working on creating a collection of resin bangles with “floated” embroidered messages and on combining metal clay charms and leather.

I sell my jewellery pieces through my Etsy shop – depending on what I have in stock. You can see examples here, but check the shop for what’s available or contact me if you are looking for something in particular.
